Using the Quick Functions
Viewing tip: Press the 'Play' button, and then the 'Fullscreen' button on the right.
Sometimes you may need to see statistics about your sheet without necessarily entering them in cells and running temporal functions all over the place.
To see these numbers, just highlight a selection of cells with the mouse and look in the bottom status bar. You will see all kinds of stats there, and you can add more if you like by right-clicking the bar and selecting the options you want.
These numbers are the ones you will find in your basic formula list - average, high number, low number, numerical count, blank cell count, etc.
Although you can get this info with the regular Excel functions, sometimes it is faster to simply check the status bar for it. Once you deselect the group of cells or otherwise move on, the status bar will clear and be ready for the next set.
