Calculating Maximum and Minimum

Ideal for use in statistical situations, you can use the Min and Max features to pluck out individual numbers from your spreadsheet that are either the highest or lowest in any given field.
For instance, if you have a spreadsheet detailing the products of your company with associated price points, you can have Excel pick out the most or least expensive item automatically, without having to tediously pick through the cells yourself.
To do so, you’ll need to select a target cell to deposit your answer in, then just use your Sigma/formula button in the menu and look for the Min or Max functions. Excel will handle the rest!
