Formatting Charts in Excel

Excel provides you with countless options to format your charts and tables.

You can increase the font size to focus attention to a title, or use a smaller font size to fit more information in a limited space.

Bolding, Italicizing or Underlining text will add that extra highlight to a key piece on the legend, an axis, or some data label.

Using diferent colors for various elements on your chart will make them easy to differentiate between, but keep try to keep it simple and proffessional. Use contrasting colors for adjacent elements such as neighboring bars or text on bars.
