Counting Empty Cells

The COUNTBLANK function is very useful to point out how much data is missing from your reports.

For example, you are a teacher with a class of students, and you wrote down their test scores in your spreadsheet, but not all of students took the test.
You wish to know: How many students are still missing their score? For this you can write a COUNTBLANK function and include the region of the table that contains their scores. The outcome will give you the number of students without a score.
